Jersey Mike’s Celebrates 15th Annual “Month of Giving”

TORONTO, Feb. 27, 2025 – Four local charities are joining forces with nine Jersey Mike’s Subs locations in Ontario for the 15th Annual March “Month of Giving” campaign to support local charities:

During the month of March, customers will have the option to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donate $1, $3, or $5 when placing their order.

The Month of Giving campaign culminates with Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on Wednesday, March 26, when local Jersey Mike’s restaurants will give 100 percent of the day’s sales – not just profit – to the four local charities. This includes orders placed in-store, online or through the app.

Day of Giving is Jersey Mike’s busiest day of the year, when some crews arrive as early as 4 a.m.

Last year, in Canada, two Jersey Mike’s locations in Kitchener and London raised $12,000 for Make-A-Wish Canada during the annual fundraiser. In 2025, seven additional restaurants are participating. Since August 2024, Redberry Restaurants has opened locations in Markham, North York, Brantford, Guelph, Pickering and Toronto’s Union Station, the first of 300 Redberry has planned for Canada. The new Owen Sound location opens on Day of Giving, March 26.

This March, Jersey Mike’s Canada expects to exceed last year's fundraising totals, to help more local charities that are striving to fulfill their missions and make a difference in Canadian communities.

“I would like to extend a personal invitation to you and your family to visit Jersey Mike’s Subs throughout the month of March, and especially on Day of Giving when 100 percent of sales goes to help a great local cause,” said Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike’s founder and CEO, who started the company when he was only 17 years old.

Since Month of Giving began in 2011, Jersey Mike’s has raised more than $113 million for local charities across North America.
